     meet Nick

Hi I'm Nick,

I have been hunting since I was 5 years old.  I remember following my dad around the forests of Washington State while he hunted for deer.

As the years progressed, we hunted together for deer and elk annually never missing a season.  During these hunts I would always be on the lookout for shed antlers.  Even when my tag came home unfilled, I would be so excited about any antler shed I may of found.

In 2003, at the age of 18 I enlisted in the Marine Corps Infantry and was sent to Fallujah, Iraq for two tours.

Though I would not trade my experiences in the Marines and combat, those deployments changed my life more than I could have imagined.  Four years later while driving a lonesome Highway near Priest River, Idaho a trailer of antler lamps for sale in a church parking lot caught my eye.  I immediately fell in love with every one of  them.  I explained to my wife how much I needed the antler lamp.  The purchase of that lamp changed they way I viewed antlers.

I started building my own antler lamps and crafts with the antlers that I had found over the years. I figured out I could sell my products and then buy more antlers to keep the process going. I love all the aspects of buying, selling and building!

It wasn't until a therapist pointed it out to me later that the antler art had actually become a form of therapy for my PTS (D). The hours I spend creating antler art is like meditation.

I am married to my wife Rochelle and we have two children. London and Nixon.  I earned a Bachelors degree from Gonzaga University in Environmental Studies and work fulltime with the Washington State Dept of Natural Resources as a Landowner Assistance Forester.

I strive to build unique antler designs but can also replicate most other designs of Chandeliers, floor and table lamps, sconces, vanity lights, hanging lights of any kind, wine racks, fireplace tools, baskets, bowls, toilet papers holders, towel racks, towel hooks, paper towel racks, key racks, coat racks, bottle openers, drawer pulls and dog chews to name  a few.
